First Aid Training Services Ltd is a Cambridgeshire based company with the flexibility to travel nationwide. Founded by an ex-military medic to offer both Ofqual Regulated Qualifications and custom designed first aid with practical based training for client groups from all different types of backgrounds and abilities.
Since joining the Army as a Combat Medical Technician in 1996, emergency first aid has been a big part of Hugh's working life. During his time in the army Hugh was posted to the Army Training Regiment Bassingbourne, where his role was to train soldier’s battlefield first aid. With this experience and passion for the delivering first aid, First Aid Training Services Ltd was founded in 2006.
Hugh's courses are engaging and delivered with energy, aiming to giving everyone a positive learning experience.
Karen's first aid training career began 15 years ago, working for a major airline as their Flight Safety & First Aid Instructor. During this time Karen has gained a wealth of experience by teaching in a variety of aviation environments around the world.
Karen has a fun and lighthearted approach to delivering first aid, making each learner feel at ease from the start. Karen is often requested to deliver the courses by our customers on their next booking.

Martyn is a highly motivated and experienced first aid instructor that keeps his courses flowing with plenty of practical work and fun group tasks. Martyn likes to use a wide range of learning styles so that all delegates feel engaged and part of the course. As well as this Martyn likes to encourage group discussions of personal experience to underpin learning.
Julie is our IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) that is fully qualified and a very experienced A1 Assessor. Julie has worked in the field of training, assessment and quality assurance for many years now and is highly professional and enthusiastic about learning and training.
