Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work

Who should attend?

This course is for people who want to become an accredited First Aider, where your workplace first aid assessment indicates a certificate in Emergency First Aid at Work is required (EFAW).


The content of the course will cover:
  • The role of the first aider
  • Communicating with a casualty
  • Contents of first aid kits (and avoiding cross infection)
  • Recording of incidents and accidents
  • Assessing the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
  • Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious
  • Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Adult, Child & Baby
  • Choking
  • Wounds or bleeding
  • Shock
  • Has minor conditions - to include: minor cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns & scalds, small splinters


Successful candidates receive an approved (EFAW) certificate and personalised ID card valid for three years.

Please note upon expiry of your first aid certificate if you continue to be your companies trained first aider a requalification course becomes necessary.


Candidates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline.

4 - 6 Delegates £375 + VAT

7 - 12 Delegates £425 + VAT
